Review SummaryInspiration was in dry dock for renovations in October 2007, so the ship is in really good shape. We had a room for four on the Empress deck with an ocean view. Room size was ample and bigger than on Royal Caribbean. Friendly staff, good food - and lots of it. Nice that the buffet eatery had 24 hour service. Downside is that you have to pay for any sodas or alcohol. Also be prepared to have your picture taken everywhere you turn. Pictures are on display for sale on the ship. Nice casino - Good mix of table games (did not see Baccarat) and slots. Several tournaments on sail as well. Room porters made cute animal displays out of towels for your room each night (swan, turtle, snake...). Shows and comedians were fair to good.
We took a $22 cab to and from Tampa Airport and the Port. This worked great and was faster and I believe cheaper (for 4) than the shuttle. We were allowed to board early and had lunch on the boat. Our room was ready at about 2pm.
