Had a great time!

Room Type: Suite

My husband, son (18 yrs old) and I had a wonderful cruise. We had a stateroom with a balcony and really enjoyed it. We would rather wait longer to go on our next cruise to pay the extra for a stateroom with a balcony than go earlier and do without. We live along the coast and love the ocean so it was a worthwhile ammenity for us.

One person in our party is an extremely picky eater and the dining room staff for our evening meal was very accomodating and always courteous...never treating us like it was a problem to make a grilled cheese sandwich or plain pasta dish for our son each night. It actually became a topic of conversation for all involved to the point that we were saddened to say goodbye to the wonderful wait staff the last night of our cruise. Exceptional is the only word to describe our wait staff.

Pros: Private balcony, shows

Cons: Young children in the adult only pool and hot tub; as a matter of fact, it was ALL young kids in the adult hot tub.

Service and Staff
Exceptional. The wait staff in the dining room for our evening meal were a key part of making our vacation one to remember. They were extremely personable and took time to get to know us, and vice versa. My son loved joking with them....they both had a great sense of humor.

Cabin / Stateroom
Loved the private balcony. It was a great way to get some down time to ourselves and still enjoy that we were out at sea.
The first show was very enjoyable, and each following show was better than the one before it. We particularly enjoyed the Blues Brothers show.
George Town, Grand Cayman
We went to stingray city and swam with the stingrays. It was very enjoyable, although I wish we were in port a little while longer so we weren't as rushed.
Cozumel, Mexico
Many vendors do not like to take traveler's checks and though some take credit cards, it is pretty much limited to American Express in the stores we visited. We should have taken more cash with us when leaving the ship or an American Express card.
