This is a fun 4 day cruise. There’s plenty to do as well as lots of time to relax.
It's a more active ship often with kids. Be flexible, don't let a small thing ruin your experience. Just go and have a great time.
Get the faster to the fun pass!!
DO NOT DO CARNIVAL EVER!
walk around the whole ship on the first afternoon. You may miss stuff you will regret.
Limited shopping stores. There were only 4 stores to shop it within the cruise (candy shop, liquor store, jewelry store, and a fun shop for souvenirs). Make sure to bring toiletries because the fun shop doesn’t have them what you may forget at home. For example, I needed hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes or hand soap, but I’m a germaphobe.
Carnival is definitely a party atmosphere! It’s a beautiful ship, loved the Art Gallery. No refrigerator in rooms, I mention because our friend is diabetic and requested one to keep insulin in, they told him they ran out. The room steward kept fresh ice in their room to keep it cold. Our friends brought the small ice chest they kept it in during the car ride down.
Don’t except the Camp Ocean to really do it for your kids unless they like a lot of movies. We expected more crafts and video games.
Book shore excisions through viator. Don’t be the person who is late to the boat and everyone has to wait for you. Stay in tourist areas in Ensenada.
Get acquainted with the ship early on and don't be afraid to explore.
Get checked in early! Enjoy the boat long before it disembarks!
You may not want to sail on the Imagination until they make needed repairs to correct the pitch and roll. If you have great sea legs then go for it. Otherwise sail on the Inspiration.
Have fun and make new friends.
Take your own drinking cup and it's better to have a passport easier transition.
cold and windy in January/February why bother cruising?
Explore the whole ship. Have some sea sickness patches and dramamine handy.
Relax, let loose, have a wonderful time
Good for kids, teens, and college kids wanting to party, and for seniors wanting to play Bingo; not great for married couples just wanting to relax.
