The cruise ship is pretty old so everything is pretty outdated and the food at the buffet is absolutely horrible but it’s still possible to have fun regardless. The staff on the boat really make a huge difference!
our family group was nine and everyone had a fun time. on a sad note two items were forgotten in our room and we filled out a lost and found form. the items have not been found which is very hard to believe considering what they were. that was the only negative we experienced
This was a trip for my daughter and me. It was her first cruise. The first night was a windy storm which caused a days delay to go to Santa Catalina. We were on the rough ocean for several hours before it calmed. Many people were ill and vomiting everywhere. We were placed by a family when we went to breakfast and the teenager next to us vomited all over the table and the floor. My daughter was convinced never to do a cruise again at that point.
The cruise was a bit hectic, not much time to relax in the quiet.
We hit a storm and half of my party got sick. Catalina Island is gorgeous, and I 'll be going back, for sure.
Bit will most likely just take the ferry. Ensanada was rainy with no beach. I wish I would have booked the extra day and made it down to Cabo. I will definitely not go again in Feb. The hot tubs were so full we couldn't get in. The food in the dining room was excellent, and the buffet was ok. The pull out couch was very hard and uncomfortable. But I'm very happy we had a balcony. The drink bill added up fast between all of us, But the kids had fun . And we have some fun memories to bring home. Not sure I'll do this one again .
