I am just going to copy and paste the letter I wrote to Carnival. I will just erase the names. I will NOT go on the Carnival imagination until its refurbished. Stay away.\

Just a note, Carnivals first response to this letter was "we are sorry" and second response was " here is a $100 onboard credit for your next cruise". They could care less about your safety or experience,

This letter is written by  ***** behalf of myself, ********and *********** as I am the one that booked our recent cruise and *********can not type
because of her injury. I have a few complaints but the most important is an injury. If I do not hear back with you in 48 hours, I will make sure I get this in writing to
corporate for legal reasons but hopefully it can be handled.
On the 2nd night of our 3 night cruise, ****** was leaving the dining room and heading to the elevators with me, *******. She put out her hand as the elevator door was just  starting to close. When she did this, something on the elevator actually sliced off part of her finger. I do have images of her finger for documentation but your medics should have the info. We headed to the room to try and stop the bleeding but when we got there we realized how bad the actual cut was and that that was not going to happen
so we called guest services to let them know about the incident. ********a headed to medical and proceeded to spend the next hour there. The male, I am not sure he is a nurse, put gauze over it and wrapped it telling her to come back tomorrow. He gave her only ibuprofen for the pain. No one from guest services came to question her or apologize. After a painfully night of attempted sleep, trying to hold her arm up because her finger kept going numb, ********** goes to the medical center and spends the next 1.5 hours of her vacation in there. ******** and **** spend about 1 hour in there with her because it was OUR vacation and we also wanted to be with her. When we enter she  is crying because the night before he did not put anything on the gauze before putting it on her finger, causing it to pull the whole clot of blood off her finger and it was incredibly painful and had not stopped bleeding. While in there male helping her NEVER put gloves on. He never cleaned her finger. Instead of emptying a red trash bin,  it looks like a bio hazard bin, he actually used tongs to pull all the trash included her bloody gauze to put in another bin. Wearing NO gloves. As I am standing there, I look down and see spots of bodily fluid all over the floor. ************** points to all of the fluids on the bed they had wanted her to sit on but she refused because of the dried mess on it. We finally ask if we can all leave and go get lunch instead of just sitting there with her arm raised up. They told her to come back at 3. ************* goes
down to guest services after to make sure they are not charging her for any of these services and finds absolutely NO record of the incident in the computers. The lady there says there are no charges in the computer and she put the incident in the computer but nothing else is even said to *********. When ************comes back at 3, she still sees her blood, dried up on the floor. The wound was still bleeding so they re-wrapped it and said to change the gauze in 24 hours. By now she is in pain that ibuprofen cant even begin to handle, they say that's all they can give her. She goes down to customer service to complain and the manager on duty gives her 2 free drinks for her pain and suffering. 2 Free drinks, Are you kidding me? We finally get to our room later on after trying to enjoy ourselves...We gambled a little but finally had to go up because she was in way to much pain. ********* and ********** sit in the room while ********* cries because of the pain. All she wants is off the boat and to go to the doctor. She managed to get a little sleep but not much. ********** was able to get into her doctor this morning., Monday morning. She was given antibiotics and a tetanus shot and is wearing a splint. The injury was too big for stitches. It was classified as an open wound with injury to her nail. *********** the mother to 3 children, one with a seizure disorder. He has well over 20 seizures a day. How does she go about catching him with her finger like this or work her daycare job until it heals? 2 free freaking drinks?
Thanks for an awesome mommies weekend Carnival.

The 2nd issue is noise. We were placed in R298, its so noisy that no one should be placed in that room and then guest services pretends it never happens? Seriously, its obvious we are above some work station. The guest service manager did let it slip later as they are moving us to room R211, that its right about a marshall station? I am not sure if I heard her right but that room must get complaints all the time. The move was nice, they were very helpful, and the 2nd night we get a okay sleep minus ********** being in pain. It was quiet. It was our final night in that room that we are awakened at 4:30am to a God awful screeching noise that did not stop until we left  the room at 8:30. I actually recorded that noise this time if there were any doubts what so ever. Your welcome to it as proof.

3rd complaint- Cleanliness and upkeep!! I never once saw someone clean the stair rails. On Disney its all the time! The rails were smudged and dirty the entire trip.Your medical staff doesn't wear gloves! The floor in the medical center was disgusting. He cleaned out a bio hazard bin with tongs! On 2 dinner occasions, we had to ask for clean wine glasses. 2 glasses each time. The first glass already had wine in it. We told the waiter that ********* dumped the wine into a clean glass but when he saw the 2 food spots in it, he should have offered her new wine! The other time, you could see dried wine all over the glasses. The doors in the bathroom have holes in them not  filled, Messy tile and grout. You don't have hardly any antibacterial stations. On Disney, they are everywhere and I use them even with how clean they are. The backs of the curtains in the dining are have torn holes all over them! The dining chair and table at the buffet have food and drinks spills all over them. Your elevators are sharp  enough to slice open fingers and cut skin off like a razor.

4th- I drink max 2 drinks a day. I can not drink anymore but for my friends to get the $50 drink package I had to buy one too? Ridiculous. If you are worried about people sharing unlimited drinks, Limit them like other boats do on that package. No more that 15 drinks a day or even 10.
On a good note, the food was delicious. We were impressed and it was pretty much the only highlight of the trip. We also loved the comforters on the bed.
