Baja Gets Better

My family of 6 just got back from a Carnival cruise to Catalina and Ensenada Mexico.  We have done these exact same ports 5 times.  This trip, however, was the best cruise yet for several reasons.  1) Both ports of call were cleaner.  Many of the buildings had received makeovers and the streets were cleaner. 2) The food was better. Carnival improved both the variety and quality of the food in both the dining and the buffet.  3) Entertainment was better.

My only complaint was that Carnival has introduced a perk called Faster to the Fun.  Guest who purchase this perk can be first on board the cruise ship to embark and the first to get off ship at the end of the cruise.  While this may be a perk for those who pay up, it actually makes IT SLOWER for everyone else because you have to wait longer for them to identify and round up the preferred guests.  Overall however, the cruise was fantastic and we will cruise Carnival again!
