My wife has been on several cruises, and was very excited about this one because of the positive experiences she'd had with Carnival before; unfortunately this one didn't live up to her previous experiences. From the moment we boarded the ship we were unimpressed. The paperwork we received upon boarding stated that we would be able to enter our room at 12:00pm, but when noon rolled around and we tried to get into our room after a long day of travel we were told that the rooms wouldn't be ready until 1:30 or later. That night at dinner the steak I ordered came out cold and the potatoes were under-cooked, we would have overlooked this, but a theme or poorly prepared food followed us through the entire cruise. The laundry center is inconveniently located and extremely over priced. It costs $3.00 to wash a load and $3.00 to dry. The machines only take quarters, so my wife went to get change for some of our cash; she had to ask three separate staff members before she could find the conversion machine, because each of them was too lazy to simply walk her to it. Finally, the third night of our cruise, my wife started having extreme stomach pains, so bad that I took her to the medical center even though it costs $90.00 just to speak with the doctor (some copay...). Our experience at the medical center was certainly not worth the money we paid. The nurse was impatient as my wife explained her pain and tried to provide a urine sample, and we have since concluded that the stomach pain was due to bacteria she contracted from warm milk that had been left out all morning (not on ice or refrigerated).

Food and Dining
Food was typically under-cooked, poorly seasoned, and had a "reheated" taste. There was a fair variety of food, but all of the dishes we selected were not well executed.
Service and Staff
Winston, our steward was very friendly and willing to help, but most the other staff members we encountered were not approachable and made us feel as if we burdened them with our questions.
Ship Quality
Everything was very crowded. The ship didn't seem large enough to accommodate all of the passengers.
Cabin / Stateroom
Enjoyed the room.
