invalid-31690 Sail Date: February 13, 2012 Ship: Carnival Imagination Cabin Type: Oceanview Traveled As: Couple Reviewed: 6 years ago
The ship was beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone on deck. They gave GLBT special treatment with nightly meetings. However, nothing was available for Christians who might like to socialize.

We had a wonderful selection all over the ship. We were able to try alligator, mahi mahi, grouper, and lamb for the first time. It was great!

They need more people, who are experienced with customs and the excursion details in guest services. They couldn't answer questions about what was o.k. to bring back from Cozumel. We had a difficult time getting information about where we should meet to leave for and return from our excursions. While we were returning from the Keys, we did not realize that we had to wait in a line over two blocks long to board one of the small tour buses in order to return from our excursion. Thank goodness for the Cuban restaurant near the line, which my husband was able to place our order at, wait 15 minutes for the food, return with the food, and eat all while waiting in the sun standing. When we arrived in Cozumel, no one told us where to go to meet up with our excursion. We found out from a port authority where people were lining up to meet. When we got there, a family found out that their excursion left without them. Someone in our group had to run for our bus to make their excursion.

There was plenty of room. Overall, the ship was very clean. They cleaned our room twice a day. My only suggestion would be to allow more time between voyages for detailed cleaning of the walls in the bathroom. During mealtime, they needed more bus people to clean tables with an ocean view.
