Carnival Imagination is a smaller ship, so don't be disappointed in the size. We went just to relax, lay around and get away for the weekend and knew the size of the ship before we booked. We decided to upgrade to VIP status since it was only a three day cruise and we wanted to check out the suites onboard a cruise since we have never done it. Let me tell you that is was worth every penny. Upon arriving at the dock, they take you into a private room to check in. You are the first to board the ship, which means no lines at the buffet, you can eat and then begin to start enjoying your cruise early. The suites were nice and roomy and the staff was great. Then upon check out you are one of the first to leave which is nice also.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The quality of the food was really good in my opinion. If you are looking for a five star restaurant you are not going to find it here. The dinners were very good and the breakfast on the Lido deck was good also. GET THE PIZZA! It is really good!

Service and Staff

The drink staff on Lido deck is almost to friendly on Lido deck. You are asked every 5 minutes for a drink even if you have one in your hand. You know right away that this is what Carnival makes there biggest check on is DRINKS!

Ship Quality

The condition of this older boat is excellent. The restrooms are always clean and someone is always cleaning. They do an excellent job of keeping things tidy.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were in the 6th floor master suite. We have never stayed this low, but it was very comfortable. My wife and I always take stairs to offset some of the eating that we do. It gave me a pretty good workout this trip! The suites were nice and comfortable. We had a couch and table along with our bed. The flat screen tv was mounted in good spot so you could lay on the bed and watch tv. The bathroom is one of the biggest we hav ever had on any ship and was equipped with a jacuzzi which we never used.

We have been here before and were somewhat dissappointed. The front of the city area is just packed with flea markets. I would say about three hundred vendors easy. It makes the city look a bit trashy and with the trash cans overflowing, it was a bit of a dissappointment. If you stay overnight in Nassau, go to Senior Frogs early. We went on an exursion and then came back to drink and it was dead.

Pros: Staying overnight in Nassau.

Cons: Price of Drinks.
