We took our 8 yr. old grandson on the Carnival Imagination and were pleased with the staff, two stops (Keys and Cozumal) and the activities. Our grandson loves to swim and we were planning on him having access to a lot of swimming--of course, this was NOT in the plans since the pool could only "seat" about 40 comfortably--and there were 2700 on board!!! Now this did not work! There should be at least two to three pools on board--the waterslide was nice to look at but very slow--two smaller slides were faster and fun. We enjoyed our time with our grandson but will look for a ship with a larger pool next time. Layout was great, food was fantastic, expecially the evening dinners. Go to Paradise Beach in Cozumal--about $13 by cab and they have it all--cheap parasailing, cheap equipment rental for masks, etc. and sandy beach with a lot to do. We loved it.
