Pleasantly surprised

Sail Date: April 11, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our first cruise, so we can't compare it to past experiences. However, generally we noticed the ship was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The evening entertainment was impressive and beyond our expectations - don't get me wrong, it's not Broadway "good," but certainly on par with a standard professional production. Evening Comic Happy Cole was excellent and a true professional. Tops.

Pros: The food. Plentiful, high quality, and all you can eat.

Cons: Cozumel Mexico is a tourist trap.

Recommends Carnival Imagination? Yes!

Ship Quality
Very clean.
Food and Dining
Excellent food. The Chocolate Melting Cake was tops.
Cabin / Stateroom
Was expecting coffin sized rooms, instead the rooms turned out to be excellent and spacious given the circumstances.
Service and Staff
No complaints. Very friendly.
Some of the "day" activities were tedious, but the evening shows and comics were excellent.
Cozumel, Mexico
Aside from a couple decent "excursions," it's a tourist trap.
Don't Miss: Swimming with Dolphins at Dolphinaris.
Key West, Florida
Could spend a week here. Loved it.
Don't Miss: Duval Street.
