Carnival Imagination Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Sail Date: September 24, 2010
Ship: Carnival Imagination
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (young children)
Reviewed: 6 years ago
Review SummaryI would only recommend the ship since I consider it my fault for booking off-season when the cruise was less expensive. Since the cost and length of the cruise was agreeable to so many singles, I cannot fault the ship.
Our servers, stewards, and other staff members made it extremely enjoyable. The food was delicious. The water play area was a blast.
However; the cabin was a ridiculous size for a family of five. To use the bathroom at night, we had to crawl over each other. In addition, the extra floor-bed was not even the size of the pull-down bunk. Whom were they expecting to sleep on it?
Otherwise, it was wonderful.
Food and Dining
Did not like dining with strangers.
The caliber was ok; not child-oriented.
Service and Staff
There was an odor near the pool upon boarding. It may have been the food (seafood). Glad Carnival added Waterworks. Made staying onboard worth it.
Cabin / Stateroom
Pros: The Water Works and the Mini Golf; Photo Ops; The Pride Restaurant; Servers, Stewards, and AM Bartender on Horizon Aft Buffet.
Cons: Inside smoking; 3am parties outside cabin; size of cabin; soda fee; Non-family oriented show
