This was our second time cruising and our first with Carnival. We enjoyed this experience overall more than our last cruise. The food was very good and included a sushi bar, pizza bar, Mongolian grill and the food in the dining room was excellent. I appreciated the fact that we could get lemonaid as well as tea for lunch and dinner. Our waiter was excellent each night. He learned our names and used them throughout the cruise. He did special tricks for the children. We traveled with our seven children and everyone went out of their way to stop and talk to them and to entertain them and make them feel special.....even waiters and housekeeping staff who weren't ours and had no cause to "kiss up" for a tip. The rooms were larger than other cruise lines and we appreciated the fact that they had two pull down bunks. We also had an interior cabin and were happy with the fake "window". It really gave the room a bigger feel and made it less claustrophobic. The children were excited about the water park, but the wait was long.....we sailed in January when there weren't a lot of children, I can't imagine the wait during the summer months. Our only bad experience was at the shows. I wish they could have been more family friendly. However, we had a wonderful time and are already counting the days until our next cruise!

Pros: Excellent food, very clean

Cons: Lack of family entertainment
