Carnival Imagination Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Sail Date: December 08, 2008
Ship: Carnival Imagination
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Review SummaryWe took this cruise because the price and length fit our needs. The rooms were nice and clean and felt new. The staff everywhere were very nice and the overall "feel" of the cruise was very pleasant. There was a bit too much of the posing for photos for us but a lot of people were lining up to have pictures taken and then lining up to buy them so I guess we were in the minority.
We had heard that Carnival was the Fun Ship line and that they could be noisy and lots of drinking. Not so. In fact the opposite. We found the ship kinda low key and many of the bars were almost empty - and we were told the ship was pretty full passenger wise.
Ports of Call
Don't Miss: Sunny day in Key West... don't miss the the 2PM departure!!
Pros: The price and the length of the trip - a Christmas Card writing cruise
Cons: The public areas were cold (AC too high) and the disembarking was a bit out of control
