This was our third cruise, the first with Carnival. While the ship was clean and "pretty", there were several areas lacking. Now, mind you, if you have never taken a cruise, or never been on another cruise line, you would probably enjoy this boat. Comparing it to other liners, well, there is no comparison. The food.... the breakfast was the worst, the lunch, if we ate at the grill, was the best, the dinners....a few were good, a few were bad. So, overall, I would say the food was fair. The shows....there was 1 we enjoyed and that was the juggler/comedy show. Other than that, they were very mediocre. We actually left 2 in the middle. There was only 1 pool on the boat, so it was VERY full all the time. Lastly, the staff. They were not friendly or very helpful. Our cabin steward did a good job keeping the room clean, just not real friendly. Our dinner waiter was the nicest. When we first got on board, we were looking for the kids room for the teens. We asked 5-6 different people and no one could help us. They all said they didn't know. Most had a tough time speaking english. I love cruising, but for the money, I will never do another Carnaval again. It was very dissapointing.

Pros: Ports

Cons: Shows

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.

George Town, Grand Cayman
We did a 4x4 Jeep tour....the tour was enjoyed the rough bumpy dirt road part (a very small part), the tour guide was the best part of this trip. It was nice to see part of the island, but not real impressive. We did stop through "Hell"....that was nice to be able to get souveniers and take pictures to show people back home. The water on the 7 mile beach is BEAUTIFUL! The next time, we would like to do a water activity, such as swim with the stingrays.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Dunns Falls is amazing! I would highly recommend this. It can be slightly difficult, but evryone works together and helps each other up the falls. You need water shoes. We have been to Jamaica twice and have done Dunns both times. The first time was a party boat over...nice if you like the party scene. The second, we went to Dolphin Cove and held a stingray....not really worth it. Do the stingrays in Grand Cayman if you want to do stingrays.
