Great first cruise experience!

Sail Date: May 15, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Room Type: Oceanview

We sailed upon the Carnival Imagination... beautiful ship and great amenities. This was our first cruise and we will definitely be going on another! The crew was very friendly, the food was great, and we were never bored. The only downside was that we felt somewhat pressured to buy all the extra "stuff" they pushed on you - like taking a bunch of extra photographs when you stepped off the boat. The free seminars at the spa were followed by them trying to get you to buy something.. when I did go for a metabolism test ($35) they wanted me to buy some detox stuff for $308. Other than this type of stuff, the cruise was great!

Pros: Food, variety of activities, friendliness of staff

Cons: Too much sales pressure, try to sell you tons of extra stuff

Recommends Carnival Imagination? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
Snorkeling was amazing! Crystal clear waters... just don't let the cabbie talk you into going to a place they're advertising in their cab... we wanted to go to Chankanaab and the cabbie talked us into going to Mr. Sancho's.. he apparently gets a commission... well, we ended up taking another taxi to Chankanaab... we could have saved ourselves $20! We also absolutely loved the food at Pancho's Backyard... it's in Los Cinco Soles.. we had a taxi take us from Chankanaab... wonderful service and food... saw it on yahoo and it had 45 five-star ratings... now I know why!!!
Don't Miss: Parque Chankanaab, Pancho's Backyard
Key West, Florida
We just went down to Duval street and hung out... ate at Sloppy Joe's and did a little shopping. I would love to go back!
