We had a very enjoyable time on the Carnival Imagination. The ship itself was fine. It was clean and had been recently renovated. It was a little too small for my liking. It was easy to get around the ship. The cabins were spacious and had new flat screen TV's in them. The bedding was new and very comfortable , especially the comforters and pillows. We had great weather and spent a lot of time out on deck. The band by the pool was excellent and they played often up ono deck. Some of the other entertainment on the ship was lacking luster though. The guitar player on the ship was not very good, nor was the guy at the piano bar. They had an excellent band in one of the lounges. The shows were pretty bad overall and really need some improvement. The best show they had was on the last night of the cruise. The male singers in the shows were terrible. The leading female was very good. The comedians really need some improvement. They need to bring better talent on the ship. The food in the dining room was just what I expected. Not very good. There is a lot of room for improvement in this area also. There was no place to even get a sandwich for lunch on the ship and the salad bar was very small with not much variety. The best thinig on the menu was the chocolate molten cake which I ate every night. It was amazing. The staff on the ship were excellent. The cruise dicrector was great. The staff were friendly and very nice. They kept the ship very clean. We met some nice people and overall had a wonderful time. We did a great excursion of ocean kayaking and snorkeling that was run very well and a lot of fun. I guess our biggest complaint was the food quality and the entertainment.

Pros: Cabins

Cons: Food
