First and Last Carnival Cruise

Sail Date: September 01, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

During debarkation at the port of Miami all passengers were crowded into the narrow passageways of deck #7. Imagine hundreds and perhaps thousands of people carrying luggage trying to exit the ship at once. Although the announcements asked that only a deck at a time were to disembark, insufficient time was given for those passengers to clear the hallways. Also out of the 900+ crew members, none were present to ensure order was maintained. Basically the procedures for passengers debarking the ship are dangerous. If a fire were to break out during this time the results would be catastrophic.

Overall I would classify Carnival Imagination as the ghetto of the cruise industry.

Pros: The stateroom staff

Cons: Debarking the ship was a catastrophy and dangerous

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.
