Will Never Book a Carnival Cruise Again!

Sail Date: September 20, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is very dated, when we booked we were told it was one of the newer ships...I should have done my homework. Also the customer service was horrible! The information desk could not even give us a straight answer as to how to dial another room. It seemed like no one cared because they already got your money and tips which were automatically drawn out of your account..so there was no reason to go the extra mile in customer service that you usually receive when on a cruise. If you do go on this ship definately do not go on the "shopping & beach" excursion in Calica. Besides being 2 hours late coming back to the ship and a multitude of other reasons, I and others thought we might be living in Calica, Mexico the rest of our lives. Why does Carnival even stop in that port...there is nothing there but a large limestone pile and you are pretty much forced to do an "excursion". There is so much more to tell but needless to say that I will keep my "cruising" to Royal Carribean or the Disney ships.

Cons: There wasn't one person on that ship that

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.

Key West, Florida
You need more time at this port. Wish we could have been in Key West during sunset.
Calica, Mexico
Why do they even stop here? Our shore excursion was a NIGHTMARE....the "shopping & beach"
Don't Miss: would never want to visit this port again
