There were problems immediately with getting out of port the first day..lightning struck navigational system so at least 6 hours of our cruise were spent in port. I think the cruise line should have either given everyone a couple complimentary drinks or we should have been given an onboard credit to compensate for losing hours of our vacation..I know it was not THEIR fault, but it wasn't MY fault either and we paid a lot of money to take this cruise.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was good. The waiter was not nearly as outgoing as some we have had in the past. He seemed too busy to have the chance to chat and make friends as we have had on previous cruises.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It is an older ship and not up to the standards of other cruise ships we have been on.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was kept very neat and the beds were quite comforable.

Pros: Weather, ports of call

Cons: Unable to leave port for 6 or more hours because of lightning strike

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.
