It was just "OK"

Sail Date: April 20, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is older and refurbished. Everything is on a smaller scale.

Pros: Key West and Cozumel port

Cons: the cruise ship

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.

Food and Dining
We thought the food was just "OK". If this was someone's first cruise, I think they would be disappointed. There were no "grand buffets" or anything that stood out about the meals. They were rather plain.
Cabin / Stateroom
We were in a balcony suite and it was tight. We were glad that we had the balcony to get some fresh air.
Service and Staff
We had a wonderful housekeeping experience. The staff was very nice to us.
We had a great experience in Key West. The port in Cozumel, however, was the best. We had great drinks, meals and shopping all without going very far. We met very friendly people in the port in Mexico.
Ship Quality
It was clean. Signage is hard to read.
Cozumel, Mexico
Had the best time here!! We didn't leave the port but we were able to make a whole day out of eating, drinking and shopping. The employees of the different shops and restaurants were so nice!! It was the best part of our trip.
Don't Miss: Pancho's backyard!! You can have a drink in the sand and listen to live music.
Key West, Florida

Don't Miss: Kermit's Key Lime shoppe- you can eat Key Lime pie on a stick.
