Spotless, efficient, mostly loud.

Food and Dining

Average food, great atmosphere, terrific service. I thought the prime rib on the "formal night" was kind of fatty and a little disappointing.

To be honest, I didn't catch any of the dance/production shows. I caught part of one comedian and found him to be sort of a hack with poop and fart jokes. He was going over big, but not my taste. The music in general was not as good as on previous Carnival cruises.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They are always top notch, the minor exception is the casino dealers are not always seasoned pros and you have to focus on the action to avoid mistakes being made.

Ship Quality

Nice ship. It did seem like we were a couple hot tubs short. They were always full, mostly with kids, and the large one up front was closed.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a suite, it was very nice, but the view was obstructed by a lifeboat, and we had no idea that was the case until we boarded.

All we did was shop and get dinner at Carlos and Charlies (which is very fun, and the food is good, while not too expensive)

It was very touristy, and loaded with shops and bars.

Pros: The service is always fantastic, and this trip was no exception.

Cons: There was no jazz anywhere on the ship, and the only place you could smoke a cigar was one half of one lounge, which was right by an open door to never-ending karaoke. You could not smoke a cigar anywhere on deck.

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.
