Relaxing cruise

Sail Date: November 07, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The food in Pride dining room was mediocre compared to previous cruises I have taken on Carnival. Everything was poorly cooked and lacked flavor. The desserts, appetizers as well as entrees were worse than the buffet food on Lido deck, which is unlike any "fine dining" that I have ever had.
The ship did not have balcony suites.

Pros: The choice of activities

Cons: The food

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.

Food and Dining
The food in Pride dining room was mediocre compared to previous cruises I have taken on Carnival. Everything was poorly cooked and lacked flavor. The desserts, appetizers as well as entrees were worse than the buffet food on Lido deck, which is unlike any "fine dining" that I have ever had.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
The last two days of the cruise the air conditioning was blowing foul air into the room. It smelled like a toilet.
Service and Staff
The photo assistant was not very informative on packages
Entertainment
Nassau, Bahamas
Atlantis is worth seeing. The straw market is full of tourist junk.
Don't Miss: Atlantis
