We had a 3 person room which meant one of us slept on the floor on a low cot. Outside rooms had a fold out bed for the 3rd person. Inside rooms were very noisy at night due to crew working on the other side of the wall and guests in the hall. The ship is very "Vegas"(decor, shows). Although there were many children, I wouldn't recommend bringing them to most of the shows. I was very surprized at the lack atire of dancers, adult oriented content, and remarks by entertainers. I would not recommend this ship if you are uncomfortable with crowds or have a family. It seemed to be oriented towards a party crowd. Many fellow cruisers were loud and/or rude.

Food and Dining

Food was wonderful! You can eat 24 hrs a day. The Horizon Bar & Grill was crowded everytime we went. The dining room was very nice. Chocolate melting cake is "out of the world!" Captain's evening was great- selection of free drinks and food.

Dancers wore very little. Entertainers often used adult comments and jokes with crowds of familes. Shows were late. There were not many options for the Day at Sea.

Our room attendant was very friendly.

Ship Quality

The ship is very "Vegas"(decor, shows). Very nice updated bathrooms. Hard to navigate layout for the first couple of days. Activities and food are grouped together which is good and bad. Easy to find activities and food. Very crowded to get to them. The ship was very stable. I rarely felt movement.

Cabin / Stateroom

Nice. Noisy inside room. Nice updated bathroom. Only one outlet that worked for hairdryers and curling irons.

Pros: Clean rooms. Updated modern facilities. Great food and availability.

Cons: Noisy inside rooms. Very crowded- lots of families and children. Very large ship.

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.
