this ship is about to go into dry-dock and get totally renovated in mid Oct.

Pros: the crew was excellent and professional. they took care of our needs promptly and gladly.

Cons: the food was just o.k. although there was plenty of food at all times, it was nothing to brag about

Recommends Carnival Imagination? Yes!

Ship Quality
this ship is about to go into dry-dock for a complete renovation on oct. 13, and will be all new
Food and Dining
the waiters were very good and filled our every need. they also sang and danced for our entertainment. there was plenty to choose from on the menu and the service was quite quick even though it was a sit down restaurant. however, the food was nothing to rave about. it was just o.k.
Cabin / Stateroom
our cabin steward was the best and took very good care of us. he did his job very well. there were extra blankets and pillows available, along with bathrobes and beach towels to use while on board ship. the bathroom was equipped with shampoo, soap, razors, lotion, and toothpaste. I do wish there had been a hairdryer. the room and bathroom were small, but that's what i expected being on board a ship.
Service and Staff
I have been on many vacations, but I think that this crew is one of the best I've ever seen. obviously, you do have one or two that will not be up to quality standards, but in general, I was impressed with the crew.
there was plenty of different activities to do and they were offered at various times throughout the day
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
we went to Dunn's River Falls and climbed up over 900' feet to the top of the falls. it was great. enjoyed every minute. also went to margaritaville and had a good lunch and drinks
George Town, Grand Cayman
we went on a snorkeling trip with Native Way tours. it was not a recommended tour by the ship, but a friend of ours took this tour when they were in the caymans and loved it. we would highly recommend it as well. we were able to go to stingray sandbar and touch, hold and feed stingrays, and then we went snorkeling on a reef and then we went to Rum Point Beach and had lunch and beach time. this was by far our favorite tour. the guides were very helpful and knew alot about seas.
