5 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: February 17, 2007
Ship: Carnival Imagination
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 10 years ago
The ship is an older ship but very well maintained and extremely clean at all times. The bed was better than the one I have at home and the pillows were fantastic! It is not easy to cook for 2,500 people and they do reasonably well but certainly I would consider that the big thing that needs working on. The shows were amazing, the singers and dancers do a fantastic job! The crew was very friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for better service the entire time.

Food and Dining

We would have liked some more basic food in the dining room, most of the desserts were beautiful but did not have a great taste.

Entertainment

Absolutely wonderful singers and dancers.

Service and Staff

Couldn't have asked for any better, they all went above what may have been expected.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Considering this ship is over 10 years old it was kept in immaculate condition and showed very little wear, which is pretty amazing considering the number of people who have used it. Our cabin was in very nice condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean, but in the future I may opt for a newer ship.

We have done Jamaica several times and since the weather was somewhat chilly and cloudy we stayed on the ship this time.

I love Georgetown, however, this time the weather did not cooperate so we chose not to take part in any of the extra activities.

Pros: We enjoy the shows very much, but also like just being able to relax when we wanted to.

Cons: The food
