Sail Date: June 24, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

well maintained 10+ yr old ship which has a good layout many elevators and stairs. Staff was very attentive and served with a smile. Excursions were well orgainized and departed on time.

Pros: activities

Cons: express disembarkment

Food and Dining
Dinner menus had a wide varity although dinners were good, presentation was very nice. Waite staff was excellent. Wine steward was very helpful.
Entertainment
Shows were nice and exciting enough to keep a 7yr old interested. Magic show was not interesting to young it was commical enough for his parents.
Ship Quality
Staff was always around to keep ship tidy. Walkways and stairs were consistly vacummed. Tables were kept clear or were cleared quickly after the party left to make room for new arrivals to the buffet.
Cabin / Stateroom
The beds carnival has used for staterooms are excellent. Down comforters and new linens are a very nice touch. I slept like a baby!
Service and Staff
Staff introduced themselves as we arrived to cabin or for dinner. Staff was very friendly and willing to make 0ur cruise experience a good one.
Children's Programs
Kids did not want to leave when we arrived to pick them up. Activities were diverse and active enough for all ages. The staff was great.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Dunns River Falls is beautiful, but the tourist trap afterwards is awful! Locals would offer beads to kids free then start craving names of figures and not take no as an answer.....dont stop to talk
George Town, Grand Cayman
Pirate encounter was great. Description did not mention the opportunity of "walking the plank" and swiming in the beautiful waters of Grand Cayman.....so wear bathing suits
