Great cruise. Our second the Glory won't be our last! We love the ship and the itinerary!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We signed in at the Miami Airport so getting on board was so easy!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We did not eat in the steakhouse, but the buffet was always good, as were the Guy's Burgers. The BBQ was a little dry, but OK. The food at dinner in the Golden MDR was always good and arrived hot or chilled as was appropriate. Great chef staff!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We mainly relaxed or left the ship for excursions. I wish Groove for St Jude's was publicized more throughout the week so there would be more passengers well informed. I would have loved to see some "Groovin'" on the LIDO when the donations were collected. That was always fun!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the music around the ship, and the evening shows were really good.
Children's Programs
No kids with us on the cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We loved the Golden MDR and our waiters, Deepac, Buni, and Ninge were excellent. We had early dining and they were always ready and smiling. We had Brunch and breakfast a few times in the Platinum MDR and Nancy and Joy were great also. Such great service! Kudos to all! Our room stewardesses were impeccable in their care. Thanks again, Gemma and Mae, for the perfect stateroom and great towel animals. We could not have asked for better service!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is in very clean condition. Some handrails are worn and some outdoor areas have a little rust, but the condition is better than might be expected on a 16 year old ship. We love the layout of the Conquest Class ships and have sailed on 4 out of 5.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin is as expected - plenty of room and storage. Our ladies kept it perfect!
Ship tip
Eat in the MDR! The food is good and the service is excellent!
Excellent snorkel tour with Cayman Dive. We stopped over the Kittiwake for a great view of the sunken wreck, then went to a reef near shore where there were lots of fish, stingrays and a few turtles. This was a great time in the water!
We tried Tabyana Beach for the first time, but will be back! The reef sea life is incredible! Some of the best we have seen in the Caribbean. Get a kayak guide to tow you out to the best places on the reef. We tipped $10 and it was worth even more! Amazing snorkeling!!
We took the tour to Lamanai Mayan Ruins. Our guides were Bernie and Tina for the entire time, and they were joined by Mauricio at the archeological site. All were incredibly knowledgeable about Belizean history including the Maya civilization. The bus ride to the park was filled with information and fun, then we had a really great speedboat ride to the site. Our only complaint is that the 1.5 hours at the site was not nearly enough to see everything and hear the guides. Go anyway, as the tour is amazing.
This was the most organized debarkation we have ever had. Most of the passengers listened and followed the instructions so the elevators and halls were not jammed. There were also a lot of walk-off passengers who didn't check their bags, so that made the terminal searches much easier.
20 days so excited to be cruising again. We had to cancel a Panama canal cruise as hubby has been battling Multiple myeloma (blood cancer) for the last 18 months. In remission and looking for a good time. 💖🛳🌞
