Review summary

I was apprehensive taking a cruise and now I am hooked. You do not want for anything and there is never a dull moment! The servers in your nightly dining room call you by name and treat you llike family. There is always food, drink or sweets if you find yourself hungry before dinner at night. Lots of entertainment for everyone no matter your age!! I highly recommend Carnvial.

Embarkation

Embarkation was smooth and enjoyable even thought the weather was gray and a little rain.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dinners in the dining room were divine! Such a variety to choose from. The specialty restaurants and buffet were yummy!!!!! All drinks we tried were delicious!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We went down the water slides and played putt~putt golf.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage shows were very entertaining and memorable! We sang along to almost all of the songs from the variety of shows they had. The comedy club, the lobby bands, the stage shows and many other types of entertainment were great!!!!

Children's Programs

We did not have any children with us. OUr co~travelers did and loved the programs available.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I have to say our dinner servers were THE BEST~~~ I Gusti Putu Arsana Putra, Avito and Victoria made dinner time one of my favorite places on the cruise. Our tables, food & service went beyond anything I could have expected. They made us feel like a part of their families. The hardest part of the cruise was saying good~bye to them. I cannot express how great they were. They are definitely an asset to your company. They were the best part of the cruise in my opinion!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The only thing I found was the dining room does not leave much room for staff or guests to get around. The ship and staff know no bounds when it comes to cleaning and making sure you and the ship are taken care of.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin met all our needs while on the cruise. Having Rambert to straighten in every day was wonderful.. he was such a nice man.

Ship tip

Don't over pack!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
We had an easy time getting on the ship and off. We did not do any excursions.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
Grand Cayman was nice. The only problem we had was we anchored at the opposite side of the island from the shooping district and when we asked someone how far it was from our drop off point they said 10 minutes. We had 13 in our group and we started walking to town on the edge of the road. 30 minutes later we stopped at a gas station and were told we were quite a ways from the shopping district. We had to call a cab to take us the the other side where we were to dock originally. Thankfully we had a great cab driver who had her friend pick us up at noon for our return to the ship. More information about where we were would've been nice. We found out later that we had to anchor on the opposite side of original port due to ruff seas.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We walked around the shopping district and swam a little.

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
The young men that piloted our tender boat were very nice and informative. I enjoyed talking with Marquise, Eldon and the other young man. This is a beautiful island full of lovely people!!! Lots to look at and buy.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel was a beautiful port. Lots of shopping to be done here. As you walk around you will see different performers.

Disembarkation

We were off the ship and on our way in now time.
