Review summary
My family and I did our annual Thanksgiving cruise on the Glory. Overall had a good time. The Glory is an older ship and is in need of some updating. The service was very good with the exception Guest Services on the last day of the cruise. Understaffed and waited in line for 50 minutes. I must comment that the cruise director (Saffie) was wonderful. She had a lot of energy and really kept the activities upbeat and fun.
The food was fine, not excellent but not bad. I did eat in the specialty steakhouse and that was excellent. The productions shows were just okay, however the live bands were very good.
Enjoyed the cruise ports. In Cayman did the Turtle Farm. Roatan, Honduras we zip lined. Belize, it was rainy and so my daughter and I stayed within the local port area. We tried local food and it was delicious. Some of my family members did a city tour and said it was good. Cozumel, been there many times but I still get off and venture downtown.
Although we had a good time, I definitely prefer the bigger and newer ships.
