The overall experience was fine.  The environment was relaxing or exiting depending on your preference which continues to make cruising a preference of ours.  However, I was continually disappointed in the decreases in service quality, meal selection, and overall cleanliness of the ship that have been made to save money I am sure.  The cost of the cruise is not decreased to reflet the same, of course.  Most of the staff went out of their way to assure our time on the ship was fantastic to the best of their ability and what they had to work with, especially because they aren't given a salary, their only compensation is the gratuities they recieve.  Either prepaid or additionally provided by travelers for exceptional service.  The excursions we purchased were very fun.  We were always back to the pier in plenty of time to make the ship amd the staff on the excursions was exceptional!  I will be exploring other options for cruise companies for my next cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom
Aside from being woken up at 2am with staff power washing the carpet outside oyr room, there was also very little sound proofing on the glory. We heard every word of every conversationThere was a constant battle with the temperature of the room. We would turn it down and somehow it was turned up during the day. No more chocolates on the pillows among other small features were also exclused. Again saving money may have been the motive but I would have appreciated the same be reflected in the cruise price.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Having specific times for embarkation was very efficient. Debarkation was a bit delayed by no fault of the cruise line. Customs had no where near enough staff to handle a full ship debarkation.
Ship Quality
Many places where rust was showing, dusty places in our cabin were most noticeable.

Chandramogan, one of our wait staff, and our cabin steward, Mankut were spectacular. There was other waitstaff that was very in attentive.
Food and Dining
Definitely noticed a decrease in quality. There were problems with meat being to dry amd melting cake being over done twice and not done enough twice as well. They have also added a section to the menu where they charge for lobster, filet and a few other items instead of providing them as part of the included selections. While I understand money is being saved, the prices of the cruise certainly didn't decrease. We had "your time" dining and it was extremely obvious that depending on the time we went determined the quality of the food in the dining room. I was very disappointed.

Highly recommend the save a turtle excursion. You are actually saving baby turtles that would not have survived otherwise and the biologists take every precaution to assure the natural process is interrupted as little as possible.
