Had a bad start while arriving at Miami Airport, 4 hrs to get through immigration and customs caused us to miss our transport to the overnight hotel. Not a good first visit impression. Thankfully was made more welcome when we finally got to our hotel. Quick process boarding ship and felt that finally we were on holiday. The only excursion we booked on the ship was for Cozumel as we were  aliterate bit worried about the short boat you have to take before getting on the coach. The best excursion was from Costa Maya where we booked with a local firm who gave us a superb trip. Not crowded into large coaches but smaller aircon mini vans and very knowledgeable local guides. Overall loved all the places we visited.

Found that the ship did not follow the guidelines it laid out in its newsletter for the guests. Dress code definitely not followed even on so called formal nights. Bare wet feet in the buffet areas so causing many to have falls on the wet floors. Food allergies not catered for in fact you were treated as a nuisance instead. Under aged drinking everywhere and not stopped. Felt that it was a case of how much booze they could sell, must have been on commission. Security a joke.

Poor quality of food. If you have any allergies good luck. Made to feel not wanted.

Felt they just did not want to be on board. Must be the poor rates of pay.

Cabin dirty when first arrived. Although when shown to steward he did clean it while we were at dinner first night.
