The ship seemed older than it was.  I was surprised.  The staff was not quite as friendly as I've seen on other ships... other than Hendrik in the dining room and I Nyuan in the buffet area.  Absolutely nothing special about this cruise.  Carnival delivered what we paid for but our expectations were met...not exceeded.  We will most likely check into other cruise lines for any future trips.  Also, we used for one of our excursions.  DISASTER.  We had to buy it four days before we left to get the promotion.  We received a confirmation email.  We were rushing to leave and learned AFTER we left that the confirmation email was only a LINK to a website that required paper tickets.  We had no printer.  Tried to access the meeting point information, etc. from the cruise ship internet and internet was down.  We missed the excursion and will not refund the tickets which were impossible to access.  They should have a warning prior to purchasing.   is responsible for that incident, not Carnival.
