Food much better than expected in quality and variety. The staff was great in every way. The stateroom was clean and comfortable. The whole ship was just fine.

The shore excursion fees were ridiculous - I felt totally ripped-off. EG - Halifax hop on-hop-off bus was $60 for three 20 minute bus trips.

Also, there were a bunch of add-on fees that easily could have been incorporated into the total price and not hidden or obscured until it was too late - $50 in entertainment fees, about $120 in gratuities. The rumor among the passengers is that the actual front line workers do not get these gratuities but that it is pocketed by the managers and Carnival.
