6 Night Bahamas (Norfolk Roundtrip)
Sail Date: October 22, 2012
Ship: Carnival Glory
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 5 years ago
This was our 2nd Carnival trip. We were not as impressed w/this ship as we were our first. Staff not as warm and friendly, and we found the ship to be less cruiser-friendly. We felt they catered to the 'drinking crowd' more than anyone else.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Sad to say that the food we paid for at the steak house was better. Somehow that just seems wrong

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Given it rained most of the trip\, options were severly limited. I feel they should have had a better back up plan

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Although most were polite\, they were far from friendly (w/exception of our steward)

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Although we found the ship fairly clean\, the layout seemed disjointed. Some entertainment was held in hallways to the casino whre they allowed smoking. This alnong w/the crowds prevented us from attending

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5

Pros: Our steward; he was wonderful and made us feel like royalty

Cons: Our steward was the ONLY one that made us feel that way

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.
