Ship was clean, crowded and there was a lack of programming other than things to purchase. The library was pitiful. There was insufficient information about what went on on the ship and news from the outer world, things we have come to expect from other cruises. On the positive side, also there were no malfunctions related to the plumbing. GI problems not handled as effectively as should have been. Purell dispensers ran out of product. Self-service beverage and ice cream not turned over to crew members to dispense to guests after the illness became obvious. We perceived a lower ratio of crew to guests than on other cruises.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food quality was uneven; sometimes superb other times well below standard. \"Your Time Dining\" was poorly managed and wait times were overly long at times. Food service was usually good and wait staff was friendly but sometimes inattentive.

Poor except for the comedy. Too much emphasis on the casino and playing bingo where purchases must be made. Wife enjoyed the pool area\, was able to watch Olympic Games outdoors on jumbo screen in very pleasant surroundings.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Generally very good but never going above and beyond.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an inside room which was very small and being so far forward necessitated a lot of walking. But it was very clean.

Pros: The comedy shows and spa services

Cons: The other entertainment and the high volume of the sound system; misrepresentation of orthotics purchase from spa presentation

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.
