Carnival Glory Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Review SummaryMy friend and I , in our late 40's, felt a bit out of place on this ship as there were not many single women travelling in our age bracket. The cruise director was very visable, yet extremly annoying as he attempted to \"steal the show\" at every opportunity. The music offerings were good to excellent, the comedy shows were good to excellent, the on board activities that were trumped up to be exciting and wonderful were in fact, lacking any real pizazz. We were actually bored mostly and it seemed the whole theme of the trip was based on Carnival's attempt to get you to drink and/or gamble excessivly . With different staff, Carnival could really be a way cool ship to cruise on!
Food and Dining
The buffet and room service were the far better choices.
Activities were for the 20 yrs olds\, anything else was trumped up boredom with faked and bottled excitement-ugh. The Saint John port was interesting and very relaxing.
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Pros: I loved that the ship was kept spotless! All of the staff was genuinely friendly\, although not especially hospitable.
Cons: Food was mediocre\, even at the \"Fine Dining\" restaurant\, cabin service poor
