5 Night Canada/New England (Boston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 07, 2012
Ship: Carnival Glory
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 5 years ago
We went with our 3 teen daughters. Adults liked the cruise except for dearth of dancing and the teens were generally unhappy with options available to them.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food\, especially desserts\, was not as extensive as previous cruises. Therefore we mostly ate in main dining room which was better. Breakfast menu in MDR is pretty limited and basic.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Shows were very ordinary. Much of the musical entertainment was in casino which was smoky and did not have room to dance.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
We found the teen staff to be inflexible and somewhat rude.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Excellent or best for stateroom service and wait staff in dining room. Not so good for teen services\, guest services desk and clearing tables on pool deck.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Pros: Serenity deck\, hot tubs\, dining

Cons: teen services\, lack of dancing\, limited clubs

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!
