Why sail to St. John? Just go to Halifax

Sail Date: July 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Some of the staff seemed to not want to be bothered. Then there was Jorge on floor 6,who was beyond fabulous.

Pros: Being on a cruise

Cons: Activities for young and old. College aged people left out. Not enough activiites after 11:00 pm.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Wow!! Those show dancers were so off tempo. It was shocking. the comedian at late night was so good. I loved Karoake. But I would love to have Josh' job. the music in White Heat was so terrible. When the crowd did get up and moving, the music would change and everyone would leave the dance floor. You need a real DJ
Food and Dining
The food was okay. I cannot get over that there was a charge for soft drinks.
Ship Quality
Very clean. And I loved the containers with the tissues to open the doors. Bathrooms spotless.
Cabin / Stateroom
If you could put something on the doors so they don't sound so loud when they close. To hear that all night is bothersome.
Service and Staff
Very good staff. One man on the Lido deck acted as if he just couldn't be bothered.
