Sail Date: January 22, 2012
Ship: Carnival Glory
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

Thought the ship was too old. For an upgraded room we thought it was small compared to newer ships. Booked this trip with the plan of seeing a little of Belize & Roatan. Belize not a stop already before sailing & the weather ended Rouatan.

Service and Staff

The matrie d went beyond duty to get the 8 of seated together.

Ship Quality

Smoking is a real issue on this ship. Even with the desinated areas people were still exposed to smoke. This was our 6th ship & never noticed or had a problem on the other 5.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room too small, decorating outdated, Had to have the attendant spray the room for past smokers. Even if smoking is not allowed in the rooms, it is still on their clothes which make the closets stink. We think there should be floors or sections for non smokers. The smell in our closets was never gone. Another traveling companions had smoke coming in under the door.

Pros: Easy to get around

Cons: Too smokey in the casino

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.
