Fantastic voyage meeting or exceeding our expectationjs, and we are seasoned travelers from trips all over the world. The international flavor of the staff was wonderful, and they were accommodating and gracious. For forty years I had fended off my wife's requests for a cruise. I was wrong. We should have brought along the kids years ago when they were young enough to enjoy all the on-board facilities. To make just one use of all the services offered on-board will take several cruises. And, coordination of the day excursions was so smooth and painless we should have opted for more.

Pros: The room service was over the moon great

Cons: Length and duration of the lines at Guest Services

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Belize City, Belize
We took a horse-drawn carriage ride through the city and it was excellent. Being limited to the small tourist area for shopping was a bit of a surprise.
Don't Miss: The carriage tour.
Nassau, Bahamas
We managed to take an air-conditioned bus tour of Nassau, but it only made one stop (at Fincastle/Queen's Stairs). It was a particulalrly dull experience because the tour guide was wooden in his delivery.. Then again, we have visited in that region before. Our fault for not picking a more inspiring excursion, such as power-snorkeling.
Cozumel, Mexico
We made a side trip to the Tulum ruins. Wish we had more time to enjoy the beach. Shopping time was also limited.
Don't Miss: Mayan ruins of Tulum
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
They are still rebuilding from the hurricane(s). We took a beach excursion to a small (actually tiny) resort an hour away. For folks like us from Oregon (who never see the sun) it was just the right length so we didn't get fried.
Don't Miss: Beach time
