Well, we would recommend this ship unless you are highly bothered by cigarette smoke. Carnival needs to invest in the state-of-the-art ventilating system if they are going to allow so many smoking areas. I believe that we were told no smoking in the rooms, but you could smell it up and down our level. I am a past smoker so this was very bothersome. We still went to the casino (just twice), very nice, but we couldn't stay very long because, again, the smoke and awful smell was everywhere. On the other hand, the ports were beautiful, the food was great (that chocolate thing they has most nights on the buffet was fab) and overall, it is a very nice ship. This was our 5th cruise, Butch, the CD, is the best we've ever encountered. If it weren't for all the smoke smell, this would have been A+.

Very nice, we walked around in the immediate area.
Don't Miss: Skyride, don't miss it.

We were there on a Sunday so everything opened late, but we've been here before many times.
Don't Miss: Atlantis

We took the 2.5 hour tour to both sides of the island. Our driver was very informative, but a little abrupt. The water is so blue, it takes your breath away. I lived in Bermuda for three years so I know beautiful beaches and water. The Island, St. Maarten, is poor and poorly maintained but the views are something.
Don't Miss: Take a tour to see the area.

Pros: Nice sized ship and wonderful staff

Cons: the smoke, ugh, it was bad
