An Adventurous Spring Break!

Sail Date: March 01, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

The Carnival Glory is a great ship, sailing in this case from convenient Port Canaveral, to an exciting fun-filled itinerary of Cozumel, Belize City, Costa Maya, and Nassau. You'll find a variety of entertainment, dining options, and activities on board and on shore. The "Zip-Line/Snorkel" Carnival shore excursion at Cozumel should really be billed as "Rock-Wall Climbing/Snorkel" combination, yet we still enjoyed it. At Belize City, we privately booked a trip to Xunantunich, a huge Mayan site near the Guatemalan border - well worth the 90 minute van ride each way. And be sure to have a seaside massage ($20 for an hour) at the palm-dotted white sand Mahahual Beach, just outside the Costa Maya port. Even if you have been previously to Nassau, take the water taxi over to the Atlantis to get a great overview of New Providence and Paradise islands.

Pros: The Variety of Ports

Cons: Slow Dining Service

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!
