a cruise to remember
Carnival Glory Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Sail Date: October 25, 2008
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Review SummaryThis ship was the largest we had cruised and if you don't like wall to wall
people, then don't pick this ship. The lines at the Lido for breakfast and
lunch were long. I felt the servers on the Lido were not as friendly as
other ships and the food and cabin crew were overworked as they were
so tired and had bloodshot eyes. The worst is that the cruise got back
back to Port Canaveral 8 hours late due to a sick crew member who
has to be airlifted close to Peurto Rico, way off our course.causing
hundreds of people to miss their flights and literally stranding hundreds
if not more than a thousand people, some from overseas and others
that had flights our west. We missed our 3pm flight and didn't get home
until the nesxt afternoon at our cost. Carnival did not offer to help with
the arrangments, only connect you to your ari carrier at no cost.
This is the last time we will take a Carnival Cruise.
