Never again during spring break

Sail Date: March 29, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

At 110,000 tons this was a medium-sized ship. However, it was easy to get around, and everything was clean and in order.

Pros: The ship is excellent, our room was clean, the room steward was attentive, the menu provided variety, the food was delicious and well prepared and presented, and the wait staff was outstanding.

Cons: My wife and I are in our 70's, so our desires on a cruise are specialized. We did not consider that it was spring break time. The ship had 800 or more children and young people, many of whom thought they were on Daytona Beach rather than on a cruise.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
We had been here many times, so we just took a taxi and walked around the downtown area.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
This was our main reason for taking this cruise. We took the total island tour and found it facinating, especially the difference between the French and Dutch sides.
Don't Miss: The entire island tour.
Nassau, Bahamas
We had been here many other times, so we just strolled down to the straw market.
