We had a great time ringing in the New Year on the Carnival Glory. We cruised the pevious new years and decided that this would be a tradition as it was so much fun. We are already booked on the Glory for next New Year's Eve. As we live in Florida, we are able to cruise quite often and we have found that we enjoy everything on the Glory from the courteous staff to the wide variety of food selections compared to other cruise lines. After a fun filled day, it is so wonderful to have a restful night sleeping in their wonderful comfort beds.
I would have to say the only negative experience we have ever encountered on our six trips on the Glory is the disembarkation process. I think that the self assist system is the worse thing the cruise lines ever offered. It's not just Carnival, the same thing occurrs on Royal Carribbean. I think it takes twice as long with the hundreds of people trying to carry all of their luggage off and banging into everyone. I think the old system of everyone putting their luggage out to be carried out by staff was a better system.

Pros: The food selection

Cons: Disembarkation process

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!
