a terrible experience...

Sail Date: July 01, 2006

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The first night of our trip went smoothly. The dinner was adequate & there were enough activities to keep you preoccupied. The second day we arrived in Nassau, was fine. Then, we returned aboard the ship to find out that the captian had changed the itinerary to go to freeport the next day instead in st. maarten, st. john, etc. the remainding days of our seven night cruise were to be spent traveling in circles some miles off the coast of florida. on the day before returing we had to stop in miami for parts. most of the guests were in an uproar. the second day of the trip I contacted a gastrointestinal virus forcing me to order room service. it was of poor quality.

Pros: the decor around the ship was nice

Cons: were supposed to go to the eastern carribean unitl we were @ first port...the captain changed the itinerary to go to the bahamas. therefore, lessening the monetary value of the trip & getting a gastrointestinal virus.

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.
