Amazing experience

Sail Date: November 11, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We recently sailed on the CArnival Glory for the first time (our previous experience having been on the Sensation). It left us speachless. The ship had amazing amenities and every possible need, desire or fantasy was catered for. The overall impression was of space. We are quite private people and were looking to relax - so we did not get involved with many of the 350 activities arranged for the week on board, but even though there were some 3,000+ passengers, we never felt crowded or that our 'space' was being intruded upon. We really love the Carnival level of service, style and innovation. My wife left the boat telling friends that she had never been so well looked aftrer or watied upon. .

Pros: Our stateroom and balcony

Cons: having to leave the ship after a week! seriously though I hated the 21/2 hour line on the diembarkation morning to clear customs and pay the duty on the stuff that exceeded our limits.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
The French side is a must.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
The views are simply spectacular. Take an island trip. Megans Beach - a MUST for anyone visiting St Thomas. Best Carribean beach I have ever visited
Don't Miss: Megans Beach
Nassau, Bahamas
Any trip to NAssau must include a visit to Atlantis or a swim/snorkelling trip to one of the small outlying islands. Shopping is good (but beter in St Thomas / St Maaten
Don't Miss: Atlantis and a harbor trip
