Nice Getaway Cruise

Sail Date: October 14, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was well maintained. We found most areas easy to access, with one particular exception - the Internet Cafe. It was tucked away inside a nightclub with no other access. Not a very good design.

Pros: The larger balcony (rear of ship, deck 8)

Cons: Dining room experience/food ok, wait staff lacked personality

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.

Nassau, Bahamas
Definitely a waste of time. You really can't do much in four/five hours.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Shopping is great. Weather was cloudy so we didn't go to the beach on this cruise but Megan's Bay is very nice (previous cruise experience).
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Shopping is good in Phillipsburg (vendors are willing to work with you). We went to Orient Beach and really enjoyed the day.
