Despite the fact that I had to wait in line for 2 hours to even get on the boat. Then once on the boat get squished for another 2 hours because they couldn't get everyone's attention long enough to get outside for the safety lesson. The staff on the ship was great, and everything was extremely clean (with the exception when the staff had to do a "monthly emergency drill").

That being said if you don't like to eat constantly, drink (at very expensive prices), play bingo, or gamble this is a huge disappointment. The entertainment was ok at best and the cruise director was so annoyingly cheerful that I understood why they don't allow weapons on the boat. The waitresses were constantly up our butts trying to sell us drinks. There wasn't enough chairs for people to layout in, and the pools and hot tubs were always too full to go near.

We chose this trip based on where it was going and unfortunately didn't listen to suggestions from friends about avoiding this cruise line. I will never cruise Carnival again.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining room food was great! Buffet needs to be avoided at all costs. Pizza was gross (which besides room service is the only thing you can eat after 10pm **except unlimited icecream** yippie!

Entertainment

See above review. They actually had a juggler come out on one of the rockiest days at sea. Comedians were not even funny, and the cruise director was just awful.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
They were all great unless you went to the front desk. They were always accommodating but extremely rude.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Broken fountains, areas constantly roped off, drink stations broken..

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Could use some updating. Remote control didn't work and neither did any of the pre-programmed buttons on the phone.

Pros: Island Excursions, Dining room food

Cons: The boat in general

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.
